Overview

We apply principles of robotics in our everyday situations and experience. Having the ability to automate a process through set of instructions or develop a system where set of instructions are followed to achieve an action is the general idea behind
robotics. The advancement in Robotics is making it smart enough to deduce new set of instructions by itself.

This course is about learning the channels that can be used to pass instructions to machines, the process involved in developing and assembling a machine, the critical concepts to put in place.

“I would say that a robot is a physically embodied artificially intelligent agent that can take actions that have effects on the physical world” — Anca Dragan, UC Berkeley
