Sustainable Development Goals Program ( SDG Hub)

Why SDG HUB?

When the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was set up by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, it was a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Young persons were placed at the heart of the 2030 Agenda.

For young persons to take action, they need to be mobilized with the right information and tools to champion the SDGs. In response to the growing need for young persons to be inspired to act for the SDGs, the Vatebra Hubs will lead the conversation in each region/location across Nigeria.

This will be a community of SDGs advocates, practitioners and researchers that will take up the daunting task of creating awareness about the SDGs in spaces where young persons abound and provide innovative solutions to achieving the goals and targets of the 2030 Agenda.

Program Approach:

The SDG Hub programs will be delivered through SDG Clubs in Secondary and Tertiary Institutions, SDG Hackathons and Innovation programs (with Prize monies), as well as Knowledge Sharing Sessions
