Summer holidays are exciting for children. For parents? Well… somewhere between keeping everyone entertained, limiting screen time, finding meaningful activities and hearing “I’m bored” for the fifteenth time before noon, things can get interesting.
That is exactly why the Vatebra Tech Hub Summer Camp for Kids is designed to make screen time feel a little more productive.
From July 27 to August 28, 2026, children and teenagers aged 6 to 18 can spend their summer learning practical digital and technology skills in a way that is engaging, creative and hands-on.
This is not about sitting through endless lectures or memorising complicated tech terms. The focus is simple: learn something useful, create something exciting and have fun while doing it.
From “I Have an Idea” to “Look What I Made!”
Children today are growing up surrounded by technology, but there is a big difference between simply consuming digital content and actually understanding how to create with it.
At the summer camp, participants will get the opportunity to explore technology from both creative and practical angles.
One part of the programme introduces children to the exciting world of AI and digital entrepreneurship. They will learn how artificial intelligence can help them develop digital product ideas, create designs, build marketing strategies, produce short videos and even understand how digital products can be packaged and sold online.
So instead of only asking AI to do their homework — which, naturally, we are pretending never happens — they can begin to understand how these tools can actually support creativity, business ideas and problem-solving.
Coding Without the Scary Bits
For children interested in websites and coding, there is even more to explore.
Participants will be introduced to HTML and CSS, the building blocks behind many of the websites they use every day. They will also explore vibe coding, learn how AI can support website creation and work towards building a basic website of their own.
The goal is not to turn every child into a software engineer in five weeks. It is to help them understand that technology is something they can build with, not just something they watch, play or scroll through.
And there is something incredibly rewarding about a child being able to say:
“I made this.”
A Summer That Builds Confidence Too
Learning a new digital skill is about more than coding or AI.
Children also practise creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving and the confidence to experiment with their own ideas.
There will be moments when something does not work the first time. A line of code may refuse to cooperate. A design might look very different from what they imagined. An AI prompt may produce something completely ridiculous.
And honestly? That is part of the fun.
Learning how to try again, make adjustments and eventually create something that works is one of the most valuable parts of learning technology.
What Will They Learn?
Across the programme, children will explore areas including AI-powered digital product creation, Canva design, AI-assisted marketing, short-form video creation, HTML, CSS, vibe coding, website building and general web knowledge.
They will also learn how to take an idea beyond the planning stage and begin turning it into something real.
The programme has been designed for children and teenagers between 6 and 18 years old, with activities focused on making technology accessible, practical and enjoyable.

No parent wants their child to spend every second of the holidays studying. That would hardly feel like a holiday.
